Tony and I had a perfect weekend in our 'home state' of Virginia. (We both moved around as kids, but by middle school our families were lifer Virginians.)
Late Friday night we arrived in Tony's hometown and had a nice visit with Tony's parents. Saturday we made the beautiful-full-of-redbuds drive to my hometown for a dear friend's wedding.
We were able to reconnect with friends from my high school and church. The weather was amazing. A welcome break from (what can be) dreary Northeastern weather.
We also were able to see my sister's adorable house in Charlottesville on Sunday and have brunch at a funky little place. Charlottesville can be so eclectic. It surprises me every time.
